About Blogging Banana
Blogging Banana is a small site that publishes short, clear lessons in English for people who are learning the language. Posts cover grammar (verb tenses, articles, pronouns), vocabulary by theme (airports, restaurants, work), and general topics written in plain English so learners can read for pleasure while picking up new words.
The audience is intermediate and advanced learners — roughly B1 to C1 on the CEFR scale. Lessons assume you know basic grammar and common vocabulary, but explain idioms, slang, and cultural references when they come up.
How posts are written
Drafts are generated with the help of Claude, an AI assistant by Anthropic, and then reviewed and edited by a human before publishing. Every post lists its sources at the bottom. The narration audio is produced with ElevenLabs.
Who runs it
Blogging Banana is run by Carlos Alberto Zuniga Nava from Mexico. Questions, corrections, and suggestions are welcome — see the contact page.
